Stage I: Online INET

Shortlisting

The Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) is common for all. For SSR, it is 100 marks; for MR, it is 50 marks.

Negative Marking: 0.25 Marks Duration (SSR): 60 Minutes Subjects: Eng, Sci, Maths, GK

Stage II: PFT & Written Exam

On-Site Filter

Candidates who clear Stage I report to designated centers for physical tests and a **second written exam** (paper-based).

  • 🏃‍♂️ 1.6 Km Run: 6:30 min (Male) / 8:00 min (Female)
  • 🧘 Squats (Uthak Baithak): 20 (Male) / 15 (Female)
  • 💪 Push-ups: 15 (Male only)
  • 🏋️ Bent Knee Sit-ups: 15 (Male) / 10 (Female)

Stage III: Final Medicals

Final medical examination at **INS Chilka**. Those found fit are inducted into the batch for a 4-year tenure.

Important: Tattoo & Gender Policy

Tattoos are only allowed on the inner face of the forearm. Any female candidate found pregnant during selection or the 4-year tenure will be disqualified as per current service regulations.
