About Accenture Recruitment Exam
Accenture conducts a multi-stage online assessment to hire candidates for various engineering roles. While the aptitude and communication syllabus remains mostly consistent, the coding difficulty and technical depth may vary depending on the role. Hence, the syllabus is reliable but not 100% fixed.

1. Cognitive Assessment
50 Qs | 50 Mins- English Ability: Reading Comp, Spotting Errors, Tenses.
- Critical Reasoning: Syllogisms, Flowcharts, Data Sufficiency.
- Abstract Reasoning: Visual puzzles, Coding-Decoding, Seating.
- Numerical: Percentages, Algebra, Series, Profit & Loss.
2. Technical Assessment
40 Qs | 40 Mins- Pseudocode: Logic tracing, Bitwise operations, Recursion.
- Common Applications: MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Network & Security: OSI Model, VPNs, Cybersecurity basics.
- Cloud: Basic Cloud concepts (AWS/Azure intro).
3. Hands-on Coding
2 Qs | 45 Mins- Basic Coding: String manipulation, Array filtering, Math logic.
- DSA: Matrices, Hashing, Basic Linked Lists.
- Languages: C, C++, Java, Python, C#.
- Tip: Usually 1 Easy and 1 Medium difficulty question.
4. Communication Assessment
~20 Qs | 25 Mins- Speaking: Reading sentences, Story retelling.
- Listening: Repeating sentences verbatim.
- Grammar: Jumbled sentences, short Q&A.
- Method: AI-based scoring for Fluency and Pronunciation.
The Golden Rules
Elimination: Cognitive + Technical is a mandatory hurdle. If you fail this, you don't even get to see the Coding round.
No Sectional Timing: In Round 1, you can switch between English, Critical, and Technical freely within 90 mins.
Gamified Round: Sometimes included. Expect 3-4 mini-games testing memory and concentration.
Communication: It is not an elimination round but acts as a tie-breaker for the final interview selection.
